Szomorú napra ébredt 2017. január 26-án a magyar művész társadalom, egy nagyon rossz hír kezdett el futótűzként terjedni. 90 éves korában elhunyt ifj. Szabó István szobrászművész.

A gyászban mélységesen osztozunk a családdal, ifj. Szabó István emlékét pedig örökre megőrizzük.
